How Much Will I Forfeit if I Cancel My Unisa Modules?

ANSWER

A student who voluntarily cancels his or her registration of a module will forfeit either a part of or the entire study fees paid as indicated below. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so by the following dates:

Action Date
Last date for cancellation of semester 1 modules 15 March 2021 Regardless of when you cancel a semester 1 module, you will forfeit the minimum payment. Full payment forfeited after this date.
Last date for cancellation of semester 2 modules 15 August 2021 Regardless of when you cancel a semester 2 module, you will forfeit the minimum payment. Full payment forfeited after this date.
Year modules (second payment)
15 May 2021 If you cancel a module before this date, you will forfeit the minimum payment. If you cancel a module after this date, you will forfeit the minimum payment and the second payment. You remain liable to pay the minimum and second payments.
Year modules (final payment)
15 August 2021 If you cancel a module before this date, you will forfeit the minimum and second payments. Full payment forfeited after this date. You remain liable to pay the full outstanding fees.
