To change your Social Relief of Distress (SRD) payment method or the Post Office to ensure that grant payments are prompt, as Advised by the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA)…
STEP 1:
log in to https://srd.sassa.gov.za/
STEP 2:
Scroll down on the page till you see “How do I change my banking details”
STEP 3:
Read the displayed information then, submit your ID number in the space provided, and click on “Submit” to send information.
PLEASE NOTE:
The bank account details provided must be in the name of the beneficiary as Sassa cannot pay the grant into the account of any person other than the approved applicant and the bank account should also be active.
