SASSA R350 Pending Grant Status

Some applicants of the SASSA SRD R350 grant have their status on ‘Pending’. If your application shows ‘Pending’ means your application has not yet been approved. Sassa is still in the process of scanning your details so that it can be verified.

Participated applicants will be paid for each month as long as they still meet the qualification criteria. Each month the application will be verified to ensure that the applicant still qualifies for that particular month.

KNOW THAT:

Should your application be approved, you will receive an SMS from SASSA requesting your banking details, then you will be paid. If you applied in May and you qualify, you will be approved and receive your May payment.

The applicant will be paid for each month as long as they still meet the qualification criteria. Each month the application will be verified to ensure that the applicant still qualifies for that particular month.

Please Note:

Once you’ve been approved, SASSA will request confirmation of your bank account through a secure site. This will also be done electronically. Any applicant has the right to request confirmation that this request is from SASSA to protect themselves.

The turnaround time of payment after the application has been approved is up to 7 days. SASSA has however emphasised that there is no set payment date for the grant.

R350 grant appeals are open as well. Appeals are basically a second chance. If you’ve been rejected and you believe that the reason behind the rejection is not accurate or is unfair, you are then encouraged to appeal.
