SRD Grant Payment Dates For February 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has released the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payments for February 2024.

The SASSA SRD grant payments for February will be made between 25 February 2024 – 31 February 2023.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Only individuals who were approved for grant payments will be paid in February.
• Funds will take about 2 – 3 working days to reflect in the client’s account after payment has been processed.
• SRD grant payments are made during the month’s final week after Sassa completes various verification checks.
• The verification checks push scammers away and seek to ensure only deserving individuals receive SRD grant payments.

SRD Grant Payment Methods

All SRD Grant beneficiaries can choose to have their grant paid directly into their bank account.

Ensure you provide SASSA with your accurate bank account details, including account number, bank name, and branch code.

If you do not have a personal bank account, you can use the Cashsend payment option to receive your SRD grant payment.

You can use your ID number and phone number to access your grant payment. You must have a cellphone with a registered cellphone number and proof of identification to use this grant collection method.
