Tshwane University of Technology Application Dates 2024, 2025

The application dates for Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) vary depending on the program you are applying for and whether you are a South African citizen or an international student.

The general application periods are as follows:

Application Date for South African Citizens Undergraduate Programs

  • Semester 1: Applications open in May of the preceding year and close in August. Late applications are sometimes accepted until September.
  • Semester 2: Applications open in August and close in November. Late applications are sometimes accepted until December.

Application Date for South African Citizens Postgraduate Programs

Applications open on 1 April of each year and close on 31 August. Late applications are sometimes accepted until 30 September.

Application Date for International Students

  • Undergraduate programs: Applications open in February of the year you wish to start your studies and close in July. Late applications are sometimes accepted until August.
  • Postgraduate programs: Applications open on 1 February of each year and close on 31 August. Late applications are sometimes accepted until 30 September.
