UNDERGRADUATE – Steps for Online Applicants

Step 1

Meet Entry Requirements and submit your application form and all the necessary documentation before 30 September. A non-refundable application fee (for online applications).

Step 2

An SMS will be sent to you informing you of the status of your application thereafter a letter of confirmation.

Step 3

Current matriculants who qualify based on their Grade 12 mid-term performance, are provisionally admitted pending the submission of their final matric results and subject to availability of space

Step 4

Successful applicants will receive SMS and an admission letter, together with a registration guide, which reflects the registration dates and orientation programme.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH YOUR APPLICATION

  1. Consult the online application checklist and student guide to ensure you have all the required information and documents.
  2. Should you be applying using a device other than laptop/desktop, please ensure that you have read the POPI clause, as well as, the applicable rules and regulations before proceeding with your application.
  3. Register to write the NBT tests if you have not yet done so. For details on NBT, consult the Student Guide

  2. An SMS will be sent to you informing you of the status of your application thereafter a letter of confirmation.
  3. Current matriculants who qualify based on their Grade 12 mid-term performance, are provisionally admitted pending the submission of their final matric results and subject to availability of space.
  4. Successful applicants will receive an admission letter, together with a registration guide, which reflects the registration dates and orientation programme. It is important to note that all applicants who wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) are required to write the National Benchmark test (NBT) before they are allowed to register for their 1st year at University.

Important Information when Submitting the Application Forms via Email

  1. After completing filling the application form make sure you save your form using your name and surname e.g. SAM MHLANA
  2. Scan all your other documents (ID, RESULTS, PROOF OF PAYMENT OR ANY OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS) and make sure you also save these using your name and surname e.g. SAM MHLANA
  3. Make sure that your email address or cellphone number that you write in your application forms is working for us to contact you.

General Rules for Postgraduate Qualifications

1.  All applications for admission are subject to the selection process.
2.  Applicants must comply with the general admission requirements and any other specific requirements as prescribed by the Faculty.
3.  A candidate may be expected to attend an interview, undergo a selection test and/or make a written presentation to the relevant head of department
