In order to ensure adequate time for application processing, and planning by the university and yourself, applications for early admission in 2024 should be as follows;

The University of Venda (Univen) has stated that they will be open and accepting online applications to the 2024/2024 academic year from;

First Year, Returning and Postgraduate Students’ Registration Dates

22nd -25th of February 2021 Selection and admission of first-time entering students.

  • Communication of admission offers to selected applicants meeting admission requirements.
  • Acceptance of offers by first time entering students by accepting online.
  • Admission of applicants
  • Communication of selection results to all applicants
1st of March 2021
  • Commencement of registration of 2021 first time entering candidates; 2020 First time entering returning students to register for 2nd year level in 2021; postgraduates: Hons, Masters, and PhD
30th of March 2021
  • Official Opening of the academic year
  •  Lectures commence.
1st of April 2021 Commencement of registration of returning undergraduates students.
12th of April 2021 Late registration commences
28th of April 2021
  • Final Date for registration of Honours and Masters by Course Work.
14th of May 2021
  • Final date for registration of students who wrote supplementary; special and Aegrotat examinations
15th of June 2021
  • Final date for registration of masters and doctoral degrees by research
