The Management of South African Military Health Service Nursing College, SAMHS Nursing College wishes to inform all intended applicants that application into various programs for 2024, and 2025 admission exercises is ongoing.
First, there are other things involved in the application process, and we have taken the time to include the relevant information below;
Eligibility
- Age: 18-26 years old when reporting for training.
- Education:
- Minimum: Matric certificate with an Admission Point Score (APS) of 24 or higher, excluding Life Orientation (LO).
- Preferred: 3-year tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., Nursing Auxiliary).
- Fitness:
- Must meet the medical and physical fitness requirements set by SAMHS.
- No visible tattoos on legs, lower arms, neck, or face.
- Other:
- No criminal record or pending cases.
- Willingness to undergo drug testing, psychometric testing, and background checks.
- Commitment to serve in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) for a specific period after graduation.
Prepare Your Documents:
- Matric certificate (or statement of results for recent graduates)
- Copies of any tertiary qualifications
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of residence
- Other documents as specified by SAMHS in the application pack
How to Apply Online at SAMHS Nursing College
Here are the steps involved in applying for the South African Military Health Service (SAMHS) Nursing College:
- STEP 1: Complete the application form which can be downloaded from the SAMHS website or obtained from a recruitment office.
- STEP 2: You can submit your application online, by hand at a recruitment office, or by post.
