The University of South Africa (Unisa) has outlined the application dates for the 2026 academic year.
The purpose of this information is to help you ascertain adequate time for application processing.
Unisa Application Dates for 2026/2027 Session
All the important dates are as follows;
- Undergraduate Qualifications: Applications open on 21 August 2025 and close on 11 October 2025.
- Honours Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas: Applications are accepted from 21 August 2025 to 11 October 2025.
- Master’s and Doctoral Qualifications: The application window is from 2 September 2025 to 22 November 2025 (with some exceptions).
- Short Learning Programmes: Applications and registrations will be available starting November 2025.
